Community

In Harmony believes strongly in the value of giving back to the local community.

"I just wanted to let you know how thankful I am for Scott. He does an amazing job on my garden and seems sincerely interested in helping it be as healthy and beautiful as possible. He is incredibly knowledgable, generous and helpful."

Jan V., Seattle

In Harmony Sustainable Landscapes created a beautiful and functional design for channeling roof water and water that ran down our driveway into a dry stream bed that winds through our front yard. Now, instead of having a flooded basement, all of the water from the driveway and roof flow into and beneath the stones in the stream bed.

Mark and his crew were very knowledgable, prompt, and finished the project within the deadline and at the cost agreed upon at the beginning. I would highly recommend In Harmony Sustainable Landscapes!

People visiting our house overwhelmingly love our new stream bed and the foliage around and through it. Many wish that they had something similar in their front yard.

Our company supports several local organizations, but our primary support goes to two organizations: Seattle Youth Garden Works and Northwest Harvest.

  • Seattle Youth Garden Works empowers homeless and underserved youth through garden-based education and employment. The owners and many of our staff volunteer at the organization’s annual fundraising dinner.
  • Northwest Harvest is Washington’s own statewide hunger relief agency. They provide nutritious food to hungry people statewide in a manner that respects their dignity, while fighting to eliminate hunger. We conduct an annual food drive with our service clients and deliver tons of food to Northwest Harvest.
