In Harmony is currently hiring lawn and tree care specialists for 2024. We are looking for safe, reliable drivers who enjoy working outdoors.

The lawn and tree care specialist is a full-time position. Starting pay is $22.00-$24.00 per hour depending on experience. In Harmony offers health and dental insurance, 401(K) plan, paid vacation and holidays.

In Harmony Sustainable Landscapes offers a natural lawn and plant health care program to clients in the greater Seattle and Eastside area. The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable about Pacific Northwest plants and lawns or have an interest in learning.

Excellent customer service skills are a must! Our services are concentrated on educating clients and providing healthy, quality landscapes with our beneficial applications.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Facilitate the care and development of trees and ornamental plants through spraying compost tea, sea kelp and other beneficial products. Also, treat insects and diseases with environmentally safe products as needed.
• Care for lawns through fertilization, weed control, moss control, aeration and overseeding.
• Interact with clients in a professional manner and maintain excellent customer relations.

Position Requirements:

• Good driving record and Washington State Driver’s License; a 3-year driver’s abstract and background check is required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to obtain Washington State Pesticide Operators License within first month of hire. In Harmony will provide study guides.

Schedule:

• 8-hour shift
• Monday through Friday, 7:00AM start time

Successful candidate will take on the responsibilities for managing small to large landscape projects, which can include stone work, pavers, block walls, lighting and water features. A typical crew is a team of 2-3 people.

Position Requirements:

• 3 years minimum experience as a landscape foreman
• Know how to operate Bobcats, excavator and other small tools
• Must have a clean driving record
• Good work ethics
• Strong organizational skills
• Beginning wage $25-$30 per hour DOE

Successful candidate will assist the landscape foreman to install landscape projects and will need basic landscape skills. Projects can include stone work, pavers, block walls, lighting and water features.

Position Requirements:

• 2 years minimum experience in the landscape industry
• Must have a clean driving record
• Good work ethics
• Beginning wage $18-$20 per hour DOE
