Didn’t hear you name devise. How about actual time timers so you don’t have to activate them manually.
Irrigation timers are also good. You can set them for frequency and duration of watering. The only problem is that if you don’t keep track of weather, you may end up overwatering or underwatering. If you decide to go this route, we recommend investing in a soil probe. Check your soil moisture periodically after you have watered and adjust your timers as needed.
